Hengtong Acquires Balance of Shares in Jiangsu Fujikura Hengtong (KFH)
KFH or Jiangsu Fujikura Hengtong Aerial Cable System Co., Ltd. was previously a joint venture between Fujikura Ltd. (60%) and Jiangsu Hengtong Power Special Conductors Co., Ltd. (40%) and produced OPGW for the Asian Pacific region, including Australia through Fujikura’s sales arm.
As of 17 July 2019, Jiangsu Hengtong Power Special Conductors Co., Ltd. acquired the balance of 60% share from Fujikura Ltd. making it a 100% owned Hengtong Company and on November the 1st of 2019 the company was given a new name of Jiangsu Hengtong Smart Grid Co., Ltd. and will fall under Jiangsu Hengtong Power Special Conductors Co., Ltd.
This acquisition allows Hengtong to have a complete offering for Overhead Systems.
