Hengtong has advanced testing equipment and a strong R&D department.

The company has established a Postdoctoral Research Station and Postdoctoral Technology Innovation Centre in 2002.

Hengtong has developed more than 60 new products, of which 51 have received a patent by the State Intellectual Property Office.
