Hengtong Cable Australia to supply 107.5km of 33kV underground cable for the $259M Berrybank Wind Farm.

The Berrybank Wind Farm site is in South-Western Victoria, approximately 14km east of Lismore and 16km west of Cressy. The site is approximately 130km west of Melbourne within the Victorian district known as the Western Plains. It will consist of 79 turbines producing 180MW.

The project area covers an area of approximately 5,000 ha, where the current land use is primarily agricultural activities including grazing of sheep and cattle and crops. The project will connect to the grid via a new 220kV overhead transmission line and a switching station into the existing 220kV Ballarat-Terang transmission line.
