Hengtong Cable Australia (HCA) will be manufacturing and delivering, 14km of 33kV and 36km of Earth cable to RJE Global for their Kings Rock Wind Farm in Western Australia.

The King Rocks Wind Farm will have 17 wind turbines and a capacity to generate up to 105 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The project will also involve construction of associated infrastructure such as roads, transmission lines and substation facilities.

The project is to be is located in the eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia in the Shire of Kondinin. The project site is approximately 35 kilometres north-east of Hyden and 350 kilometres east of Perth.

The State Government said the Kings Rock Wind Farm will deliver an economic boost to regional Western Australia, with about 200 jobs to be created during the project’s construction.
